Ratusan Ribu Benih Lobster yang diamankan dalma Box oleh Polsek Tungkal Ilir
TANJABBAR – Jajaran Kepolisian Sektor (Polsek) Tungkal Ilir Polres Tanjab Barat berhasil menggagalkan penyelundupan benih lobster sebanyak 119.300 ekor.
Dari seluruh barang bukti benih lobster ilegal ini terdapat dua jenis lobster yakni jenis mutiara sebanyak 5.700 ekor dan jenis pasir sebanyak 113.600 ekor, dengan nilai rupiah sebesar Rp. 19,9 Miliar.
Kapolres Tanjab Barat AKBP Guntur Saputro, S.IK, MH didampingi Kapolsek Tungkal Ilir, IPTU Agus Purba, SH saat diwawancarai wartawan, Sabtu (19/12) menyampaikan, ratusan ribu benih lobster ini diamankan pada Jum'at (18/12) malam.
Menurutnya, Benih lobster ini diamankan berawal dari kecurigaan petugas terhadap salah satu mobil dengan nomor polisi BH 1755 AS yang terparkir di depan rumah warga di daerah Desa Kuala Indah, Kecamatan Kuala Betara, Kabupaten Tanjab Barat.
Setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan oleh petugas, di dalam mobil tersebut didapati 4 box styrofoam yang didalamnya berisikan benih lobster. Mendapati adanya temuan itu, petugas kemudian langsung melakukan penggeledahan dan kembali berhasil menemukan 20 kotak styrofoam berisikan benih lobster yang disembunyikan dibelakang rumah.
“Ada 24 box styrofoam berisikan benih lobster yang berhasil diamankan, dengan jumlah keseluruhan sebanyak 119.300 ekor, dengan nilai rupiah sebesar Rp. 19,9 Miliar,” kata Kapolres.
Dilanjutkan Kapolres, saat petugas melakukan penggeledahan, petugas tidak mendapati diduga pelaku, diduga mereka kabur saat petugas datang.
“Untuk diduga pelaku saat ini sedang kita dalami dan sedang dilakukan penyelidikan," ujarnya lagi.
Sementara itu, untuk benih lobster ini sementara pihaknya mengamankan di Mapolres Tanjab Barat.
"Dan selanjutnya akan kita koordinasikan dengan Balai Karantina Ikan Pengendalian Mutu dan Keamanan Hasil Perikanan (BKIPM) Jambi, yang nantinya benih lobster ini akan dilepasliarkan,” pungkas AKBP Guntur.
